                Teorumi, your licensed nature guide

                   Teorumi was born in the Shiripuno Quichua community in the Amazon forest, 2 km from Misahualli, Ecuador. During his childhood he explored every corner of the jungle, discovering the secrets of it's plants and animals as well as learning the traditions of the indigenous Quichua culture.
                   After his primary schooling he was very fortunate to continue on to study biology at the University of Leeds in England. Within four years he graduated as a biologist specializing in Herpetology with a special emphasis on the study of poisonous snakes.
                   After his time at Leeds he returned to Ecuador where he became licensed as a nature guide. His skills also encompass knowledge of medicinal plants to wildlife survival skills. He is the only 100% Misahualli native holding a license issued by the Ministry of Tourism. He is committed to practicing Safe, Responsible and professional Quality services. Teo utilizes the services those in his community to support the local economy. Teo also employs and trains young people with significant knowledge of their culture to professionalize the field of tourism.
                   Teo speaks Quichua,Spanish,English and French.His knowledge of languages is a tremendous advantage in getting valuable information about the jungle and the people to you.
