I have been traveling for over 30 years and never came across a community which worked together like this. In my time as a volunteer in Shiripuno,I have never seen any strife or arguments, only laughter and an amazing way of creating TOGETHER whatever needs to be done. This is what i call a perfect way of living together.I feel honered to have witnessed the Shiripuno way of life and wish we all could find this way to be together in harmony.
Teo has been a wonderful and knowledgeable guide and i immensely enjoyed my jungle experience with him.

Remembering the children of the Shiripuno community brings a big smile to my heart. I felt very included in all the laughter and joy that this community shares with each other. The opportunity to live off the grid and live so simply is an experience I recommend to everyone! it is a good reminder of how little we actually need.I am grateful to Shiripuno for being such a great example in the world of ecological and sustainable living. Being a part of daily life here with everybody, teaching English,celebrating with the community was deeply enriching.You all have a special place in my heart, so beautiful! Thank you!!!
